What Are We About?

Strong Faith

Cornerstone Community Church is a loving, Spirit-filled faith community serving Prescott, Augusta, Domville, Johnstown, Iroquois, and the surrounding area.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the one true God.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and the only authority and firm foundation on which to build our lives.

We believe in salvation through faith in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

We demonstrate our faith through repenting of our sins, being baptized by immersion in water in Jesus’ name, and being filled with the Holy Spirit.

We believe in living a holy life, based on the principles of God’s Word.

We believe in the power of prayer and have seen many miracles in our church!

Our goal is to build our church and our lives on Jesus Christ as our cornerstone. Everything else is strong and level if we get the foundation right!

Strong Families

We believe that the family is the basic building block of society, and that God wants to build strong families, so we can have strong communities.

We believe God’s perfect will for families is for a husband and wife to love and respect each other and raise their children to know Jesus. God’s Word and a shared faith is the cement that best holds families together.

We realize we live in an imperfect world, and many people are alone and many families are broken. Thankfully “God places the lonely in families” (Psalm 98:60)!

No matter what your family situation, our church family will welcome you into our family. No one should be alone.

We worship together, pray together, and look into God’s Word together. This brings unity, love, and common purpose.

Strong Community

When we share a strong faith and come together as the Family of God, we become a strong community.

We support one another, encourage one another, and meet one another’s needs.

We share regular events, coming together for food, fun, and fellowship.

We are active in our community, serving seniors at the local nursing home and doing good as we see opportunity to be a blessing.
